How To Ease Your Mind and Have More Control

It All Starts In The Mind

It is normal to feel out of control sometimes. Like nothing you do is ACTUALLY making a difference in your life and this can be frustrating to most, including myself.

The mind is a tool to be used for our ascension into greatness, yet, not many of us are able to reach that level because of outsider/inside factors that we are not yet able to handle.

There are many reasons for such mediocrity, but the one of most concern to me is the mind. It all starts there and we must find a way to conquer that beast, otherwise, we are doomed to fail in all aspects of life.

Therefore,  it is of upmost importance that we watch:

  • what we say
  • what we hear
  • what we do

Because the mind takes notice of all the seemingly insignificant things we do throughout  the day and finds them a place for later use. This can be good or bad; doesn't matter. And this is the trap we fall into where the mind takes more notice of the bad rather than the good.

And there's definitely a way to overcome this, and that is through CONSTANT AWARENESS of our surroundings.

Become More Aware

The more aware we are of our surroundings, the more we can take notice and learn to control the amount of information our brain consumes. The brain is a powerful biological machine, don't get me wrong, but like any other machine, it needs some time to process all the information we take in.

Some need more time than others, but it seems to me like we are forgetting to take time to let our brain to simply distill all this information, especially with the rapid advancement of all technologies.

So take some time for yourself at the end of every hard-working day to simply let your brain process and, in this way, you can find a better way to be happier.

WAYS TO ACCOMPLISH THIS:
  • Mediation
  • Journal Writing
  • Talking to Loved Ones
  • Observing Nature
  • Performing a task you've been putting off
  • Cleaning
  • Drawing
  • Taking a Shower
Basically anything else because what you tend to do most days. The creative the task, the better.

This process will take time, not weeks, but months of intentional effort from your part. But once you've established how to ease your mind, then, you can start to make good use of your newly founded skill and have more control over your life.

I hope this helps and I'll see soon, alright?

Best Wishes,
